Though the original patent was burned in 1836 a picture of the patent drawing is preserved
at the National Archives. Records sais that Lambert's Cane Gun were manufactured at the Ethan Allen' manufactury. It would be the earliest gun manufactured by Allen. .30 gauge caliber percussion, 27 3/4" rifled barrel, bamboo stock, ivory handle, muzzle hidden by brass ferrule.
